The Relief India Trust Noida was formed in 1992 and is currently run by
over sixty people. This is a non profit making organization, this means
that its funding come from the public and there are also donations that
may come from other countries as well as government allocations.
Like many nonprofit making organizations, Relief India Trust Noida with the
focus on the underprivileged and children in the society has been able
to better the standards of living of many people in India. The trust
inspires people to be involved, while educating them in the process of
promoting and protecting social and environmental capital. Through
advancing of a better life and community mobilizations in all its
spheres, the trust has been able to carry out its core objectives.
Relief India Trust also aims at participatory governance through
sustainable management of natural resources.
The trust is actively involved in capacity building. This is done
through community based organizations, self help groups and village
education committees that aim at protecting children's rights, raising
literacy levels of the girl child, and motivating youth on literacy
programs and other ways that promote their well being.
Relief India trust is keen in procuring bursaries for the
underprivileged children to help them go to school. The trust also
distributes equipment to schools. They closely monitor schools to ensure
there are adequate teachers and that the learners are doing so in the
most comfortable conditions possible.
Relief India Trust Wiki is strongly involved in networking, and movements
and support of awareness campaigns and forums that aim at promoting the
rights of women and children, their education, their financial welfare
and economic liberation.
The trust also provides health and medical aid to the underprivileged
members of the society through a number of extended services. Relief

on the ground to exercise this. Organ donation is also an activity
covered by this organization through creating awareness and getting
people to donate organs to save lives. The trust is actively engaged in
the distribution of preventive and curative medicine, mosquito nets and
sanitary pads to those who require them. Rehabilitation of street
children and children who are mentally impaired is a major objective of
the Relief India trust. Physical disabilities are identified and
corrected to the extent that they can be corrected. The physically
challenged are also provided with aids that help them cope with their
challenges. Mental cases are taken to a rehabilitation center where
psychiatric services are offered to help these people have a near if not
normal life. Surgical operations and medications are administered where
applicable.
Through these services Relief India Trust has been able to ensure a
better standard of living for those people it works with. The government
has been made more accountable to service provision to the citizenry.
These operations have been possible by the availability of adequate
funding. Generous donations continue to be availed to the trust through
different fronts. Those interested in making donations can do so and get
tax exemption under section 80G (5) (vii) of the 1961 income tax act.
